A Guerrilla Restaurant at Omicho Market where is the symbol of the food culture of Kanazawa.

It is the climax of the long period of one year exhibition in 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa“Taste of Curiosity – Museum of Curiosity,” which has expanded from the gallery into the city ends with a Guerrilla Restaurant in Omicho market, the symbol of Kanazawa’ s food culture. This seems to be another beginning of the new phase. Oumicho market is not a simple fresh market for Kanazawa citizen. The market constituted their sense of beauty historically to always supply the attractive ingredients in this castle town near from the port. The ingredients which they supply produced a traditional craft and artistic regional cuisine for many years. The meaning of performing a guerrilla restaurant in this place that was a base of food culture was very important to us, food creation.
